My name is Joe Miller. I am the developer of this site. This is the very first forum post and the only thing currently working on ParadeHero.com.

While I am not a full-blown Parade Organizer, I have worked closely with a number of Parades and Organizers over the past few years. I am confident I can make the life of a Parade Organizer (often thankless) easier, and make parades around the US (even the entire world) better with some technology.

The Vision

I currently have a vision for ParadeHero and I hope you'll join me as I turn that vision into a reality. The first step, however, is building a place where Parade Organizers can share tips, ask questions and help one another with their parades. That's why the first working portion of this site is the forum.

The forum is now up so I'll now be starting work on a way to get updates to everyone in an efficient way. Once that's done, I'll ask everyone to give me their opinion on what would help them the most. When I have some free time, I'll also throw in some tools that haven't been requested, but I think will help anyway.
